As of June 2015, the developer of the original “Happy Wheels” game, Total Jerkface, hasn't developed an official version of "Happy Wheels 2." The only other game that the developer has released is “Divine Intervention,” which is available to play on Totaljerkface.com.
In “Happy Wheels,” the player takes control of an unlucky person who must race to the end of a stage full of deathtraps. Although the developer hasn't made a new version of or sequel to the game, the original content remains fresh because a player can enjoy user-created stages or make his own using the stage builder.
When starting the game, the player has the option of choosing featured levels by clicking on Play or browsing all user-created levels by choosing Browse Levels. When viewing a user-submitted level, the player can see when the level was created, how many times others have played it and the current ranking that other players have given it.
The computer keyboard is used for control in “Happy Wheels.” The left and right arrow keys lean in their respective directions. The up arrow makes the player accelerate, and the down arrow makes him go in reverse. The Z key makes the rider jump off of the vehicle. While ejecting the rider off the vehicle makes the player lose the level, it often leads to comical deaths.
