You need a PC running Windows 7, 8 or XP to use the emulator. Bluestacks is available for free at the Bluestacks website and requires a minimum of 2 GB of RAM to run and 9 GB of free hard drive space. Your graphics drivers may also need to be updated to be fully compatible. Full instructions for installation are available at the Bluestacks website.
The easiest way to get the game is through the Google Play Store, where it is freely available. Fire up Bluestacks, and you are prompted to log into your Play Store account. Do so and find "Clash of Clans" in the store, then click the Install button to set it up. An icon for "Clash of Clans" should then appear on the main page of the emulator.
Upon first playing "Clash of Clans," go into the in-game Settings menu and ensure you've entered your Google account information by clicking on the Google+ button. This ensures your progress is saved between sessions. The functions of the touch screen are mostly replicated just by using the mouse, but you use the "+" and "-" keys or hold CTRL to zoom in and out.
