In “Call of Atlantis,” players have to match three or more symbols together to make them disappear in an attempt to get ancient artifacts to the bottom of the screen. They use a computer mouse to drag and drop the symbols to match them together.
“Call of Atlantis” lets players explore the lands around the Mediterranean as they attempt to solve puzzles. The goal of the game is to appease the god of the sea, Poseidon, using the magical power of ancient artifacts.
At each stage, there are a certain number of artifacts that players must create. To create an artifact, they have to get all of the pieces of the artifact to the bottom of the puzzle. Making the symbols underneath the pieces of artifacts vanish makes them fall and get closer to the bottom of the puzzle. Once all of the pieces of an artifact reach the bottom, that artifact is complete, and the players start on another artifact.
After completing an artifact, the players go to the next level. At the end of each level, they receive a score based on how many symbols they destroyed, how many matches they made, how many artifacts they created and how long it took them. At the end of all the levels, their total score is based on the scores of all the levels combined.
