Photographer Anup Shah is noted for having spent three months photographing a large herd of zebras on the plains of the Masai Mara in Kenya. Anup and his brother, Manoj Shah, also spent a year photographing herds of zebra together.
The brothers were born in Kenya, where they spent hours in a nearby national park watching wild animals. After attending university in England, they returned to Kenya to pursue their interest in wildlife photography.
Their photographs have been featured in exhibitions across Europe and America. Their works have also appeared in publications such as BBC Wildlife and National Geographic.
The two have won awards in the Nature's Best International Photography competition as well as the BBC/BG Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. Their publications include the wildlife books “Sauvage Afrique,” “Savane” and “African Odyssey.”
