Some “Minute to Win It” games include two versions of the same name that appeared on the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii. These games are available for purchase on Amazon.com and Bestbuy.com. A version of this game was also available on the Xbox 360 and requires Kinect support.
The Wii version of “Minute to Win It” features 36 challenges that are randomly selected to create a 10-round battle. Unlike other versions of the game, the Wii version is compatible with the Wii Balance Board, but it's not required. The game also features Wii Remote Plus support. Up to four players can compete against each other at the same time.
The DS version of the game also features 36 challenges and a multiplier mode. Many of the mini-games take advantage of the touch screen on the DS. Players also use this touch screen to design their own characters. This game has voice encouragement from Guy Fieri, the host of the “Minute to Win It” NBC show.
In both versions of the game, the amount of money that the gamers are playing for increases with the difficulty of each challenge. Each game is made up of 10 segments of 60-second challenges. The overall goal is to claim the $1 million prize for completing all 10 segments.
