"Knights and Merchants" is published by TopWare Interactive and is available for PC. The game places the player in the role of a palace guard captain who must defend the sole remaining royal province and win back captured provinces.
"Medieval Lords: Build, Defend, Expand" is published by Pointsoft GmbH and is available for PC. It was the first themed city-building game with a 3D engine. Players choose where to locate towns, construct buildings and manage their population.
The "Lords of the Realm" series was published by Sierra On-Line for PC. The games mix economic management of a medieval town with real-time combat. Players choose one of five nobles and fight the others for control of the realm while attempting to keep their towns prosperous.
