Creating a homemade twister game board is fun, easy and allows you to use your favorite colors. To make your board you need the following items: a 4 foot by 5 foot drop cloth, craft paint in four different colors, a paper plate, a pencil and a paintbrush.
Trace your circles
Lay your 4 foot by 5 foot drop cloth out on a hard, flat surface. Use the pencil and paper plate to trace four columns of circles on the cloth. An official twister board has six circles in each column, but you can use more or less if you like.
Paint your circles
Using your craft paint, carefully paint the circles you just traced out. All of the circles in a particular column should be the same color for consistency with the original game.
Play the game
Once your drop cloth dries, you are ready to play your homemade twister game. If you don't have a twister spinner, either create a spinner or just use dice. To use dice, use one die to tell you which appendage to place (for example, right hand or left foot), and one die to tell you which color on which to place it. If you are using regular six-sided dice, designate a number for each color or appendage, then leave the remaining numbers as wilds or do-overs.
