One way to make a paper wreath is to use 10 pieces of card stock, a foam wreath form and some ribbon. Begin by choosing the color for the wreath. Use card stock that is all the same color, or select variations of the same color for an ombre wreath.
For every sheet, cut four rows with four or five leaves each. Each sheet yields 16 to 20 leaves. It is fine for the leaves to vary a bit in size and shape. If you want an ombre wreath, cut the same number of each color.
Next, fold each leaf lengthwise. Use scissors to press the crease, making it sharp.
Use a hot glue gun to attach leaves to a 12-inch foam wreath form. For the first row, glue leaves across the top and along the sides of the wreath. Place the second row so that it slightly covers the base of the first row. Continue this pattern until you have created enough rows to completely cover the wreath.
To make a hanger for the wreath, cut two pieces of matching ribbon at least 24 inches long. Glue one end of each piece to the back of the wreath, about one-quarter of the way down on each side. After the glue dries, tie the other ends together and make a bow.
