The Guinness World Records also reportedly recognizes Northlandz as the biggest model railroad in the world. As part of the Northlandz exhibit, there are 100 trains, 3,000 buildings that compose cities and villages, and approximately 50,000 trees. It also contains approximately 400 bridges, some of which are 40 feet long. Bruce Williams Zaccagnino originally began Northlandz in his basement as a hobby before moving it to its current facility. The model railway is open to the public.
