To keep score in Court Whist, award the team that wins more tricks one point for each trick over six. The winner of a trick is the player who plays the highest card in the trick's original suit or the player who plays the highest trump card.
Court Whist is a variation on the card game Whist and uses the same scoring system. However, Court Whist has multiple tables, and when a team wins, it moves to another table.
Four players play Court Whist in pairs, with each pair being one team. Each player receives 13 cards and plays one card per trick. After the 13 tricks, the team that has won over six tricks scores points. The team that reaches five points first wins, although there are variations on the point total required to win.
