Join an American Contract Bridge League club by finding your closest club, contacting the club's manager and then participating in the club as a player or student. Join the ACBL through the national organization's online registration portal. The first year of membership costs $29 as of 2015.
Find a club through the ACBL website by inputting geographic search parameters such as a state, city or ZIP code. Use ACBL district numbers, unit numbers, club names and unit types to narrow a search even further. Click one or more days of the week to locate clubs that meet on particular days. Click the Search button to find clubs that meet your criteria. Entries for each club include the name of the club, its address, the contact person, a contact phone number or email, and the days of the week when the club hosts meetings.
Once you find a club and receive a prospective member packet, register online and pay the $29 membership fee. Input personal information such as your name, address, phone number, email address and date of birth. Refer to your recruiter's name, recruiting club number and the recruiting player number. This ensures the club member, and the club itself, receive credit for your membership from the national office. The ACBL has more than 3,200 clubs across the United States.
