Christmas-themed charades can be made more difficult by expanding on basic topic areas to include Christmas phrases instead of words, or more obscure answers beyond the basic Christmas themes. These types of questions make the game more challenging for an adult Christmas party, but when children are present, the game can still include some easier selections to make the game fun for all ages.
Instead of topic areas such as "Christmas songs" or "Christmas movies," for example, expand the topics to "Christmas song lyrics" or "lines from Christmas movies." Mix in some examples of Christmas activities, such as "driving to see Christmas lights," or "putting money in Salvation Army kettle." These types of ideas require a lengthier acting session for teammates and the increased word count makes the entire game more challenging.
