"Grand Theft Auto V," Rockstar Game's flagship game, debuts on Playstation 4 on Nov. 18, 2014. This version includes new weapons, vehicles, activities, additional wildlife, denser traffic, a new foliage system and enhanced damage and weather effects. Returning players who own the game on an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 can also gain access to additional content.
"Grand Theft Auto V" was announced in 2011 and released on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on Sept. 17, 2013. It is the fifth installment in the main "Grand Theft Auto" series. The game takes place in Los Santos, which is based on Los Angeles, and features three protagonists as well as an immense open world. Furthermore, it was one of the last major releases on the seventh generation consoles. Due to this, Rockstar made plans to port the game to the eighth generation consoles, including Xbox One and Playstation 4, as well as to Microsoft Windows. The Xbox port is also scheduled for release on Nov. 18, 2014, and the Windows port on Jan. 27, 2015. Players returning from previous consoles gain access to new story missions, a Noir-style filter to edit the way gameplay appears, new vehicles and new weapons on the new version.
