"World of Warcraft" is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that puts players in the fantasy world of Azeroth. Players have 13 races and 12 classes to choose from. Every class has three talent threes that further customize the capabilities and the combat responsibilities of the character. Players can either fight against non-player enemies or challenge each other. Although the game has a version that is free to play, a monthly subscription is necessary to unlock all features.
Taking place in the Star Wars universe, "Star Wars: the Old Republic" is a free-to-play MMORPG. It allows players to create a character that fights for the Republic or the Empire. Both sides have four combat roles to choose from and each combat role offers two advanced classes for the player to specialize in.
"The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim" is a single-player role playing game by Bethesda in which gamers explore Tamriel, the mortal realm in the Elder Scrolls universe. Players have 10 races to choose from, and a detailed character creation process allows players to change the gender, facial structure, skin tone, hair and other physical features of their character.
