The Final End Challenge is a promotional competition wherein any legal resident of Canada can submit a series of 103 separate "secret words" online in an attempt to win one of several offered prizes. The secret words are provided at the end of every Season of Champions curling event broadcast.
In order to participate in the Final End challenge, viewers tune in to TSN for the 103 curling event broadcasts to learn a secret word, which is then submitted online to the Final End website. Every secret word counts as a separate entry, with a final count of 103 entries possible per contestant. The winner of the challenge is chosen through a random draw from every submitted entry. The grand prize winner receives a trip for two to the 2016 Tim Horton's Brier with provided airfare and hotel accommodations for 10 nights, valued at approximately $5,000. Additionally, secondary prizes are given away to 103 randomly chosen participants. These winners each receive a $50 gift card to M&M Meat Shops, the grocery chain that conducts the Final End Challenge. The 2015 Final End Challenge concluded on April 16, 2015, in Kitchener, Ontario, where the grand prize was drawn and presented to the winner, Sandra S. of Trail, British Columbia.
