Some easy crafts to make and sell are handmade soap, embellished flip flops, walking sticks and hand-dipped candles. Homemade body products, candy wreaths and ornaments made from household items are also easy to make and sell.
Practical items, such as hand-crocheted dish cloths, homemade handbags or handmade soap, sell well at crafts fairs and Christmas bazaars. To make simple walking sticks, gather some unusual, sturdy sticks, and strip off the bark. Carve a decorative pattern on the stick, and put some finish and a rubber end it. Glue ribbons, charms, flowers or gem stones onto flip flops with hot glue for an inexpensive and practical item.
Homemade mason jar candles are easy to make and sell. Melt soy wax and add a few drops of essential oil to the hot wax. Dip a candle wick in the wax, and tie the top of it to a stick or pencil, to hold it in place. Pour the melted wax into the jar, allow it to cool over night, and trim the wick to 1 inch.
Homemade honey almond body wash is also easy to make and sell, and it uses only four ingredients. Combine 1 cup of raw honey, 3 tablespoons of Dr. Bronner's Almond Castile soap and 15 to 20 drops of essential oil, and pour the mixture into a bottle.
