As of 2015, the developer behind the "Temple Run" franchise, Imangi Studios, hasn't made an official Temple Run 3 game. Players can still download other games in the "Temple Run" series, such as “Temple Run 2,” from the Google Play store.
Imangi Studios has made several games for its "Temple Run" franchise, including “Temple Run,” “Temple Run 2,” “Temple Run Brave” and “Temple Run Oz.” The “Temple Run Brave” game is based on the Disney movie “Brave,” whereas “Temple Run Oz” is based on “The Wizard of Oz.”
Just like the other games in the series, “Temple Run 2” is an endless, forced-running game for mobile devices. The goal is for players to use touchscreen controls to help the hero run and jump his way through a temple. There is no end to the game. Instead, players are encouraged to try for high scores by running as far as they can without dying.
While running in “Temple Run 2,” players collect coins that they can use to power up the hero. This makes it easier for them to reach further distances faster. If they save up enough coins, players can unlock new characters to use in the game. Each character has a special power that can aid the players in achieving higher scores.
