To access the available Lionel diagrams, select the Library link located at the top right of the page, and then select the button labeled Enter the Library. A list of Lionel diagrams are available including diagrams for post-war and pre-war locomotives, tracks, and freight and passenger cars. Select a diagram from the list, and then choose which diagram to view from the subcategories menu. Images for each diagram are thumbnail-sized, so to view a full-sized image of the diagram, click on the diagram thumbnail. Diagrams open in a new window, so click out of the window to go back to the thumbnail page.

Each Lionel locomotive manual contains a description for each part of the diagram, along with a part location and part number. For each part on the diagram, a unit price is provided in addition to the minimum part quantity for the particular locomotive schematic. Each diagram also has information about how the locomotive part of the diagram you selected was created, what aspects of the part was changed, and the specifications involved for that particular part.
