Q:

How do you get a Daedric armor in Skyrim?

A:

Quick Answer

Players can craft Daedric Armor in "Skyrim" with the Daedric Smithing Perk, a Smithing level of 90 and the required ingredients. Each piece of Daedric Armor requires a Daedra Heart, between two and five Ebony Ingots, and between one and three Leather Strips.

Full Answer

  1. Reach level 90 in Smithing

Raise your Smithing level by crafting or improving items at the forge, reading Smithing skill books or paying for training from NPC blacksmiths. Crafting and improving strong weapons and armor raises the Smithing skill more quickly than crafting jewelry.

  2. Choose the Daedric Smithing perk

Unlocking the Daedric Smithing perk requires unlocking the previous perks in the skill tree: Steel Smithing, Dwarven Smithing, Oricsh Smithing and Ebony Smithing. Choosing perks on the opposite side of the skill tree, such as Glass Smithing, does not lead to Daedric Smithing.

  3. Gather the required ingredients

Use the Smelter to create Ebony Ingots from Ebony Ore, and use the Tanning Rack to make Leather Strips from animal pelts. These items can also be purchased from merchants. Daedra Hearts can be collected from dead Daedra. Some merchants occasionally sell them.

  4. Craft armor at the forge

Bring the ingredients to a forge in any city, village or mine. You may equip optional accessories that improve Smithing skill. Pick your chosen piece of Daedric Armor from the menu. The ingredients are removed, and the item is added to your inventory.
