Builders can use model kits to exhibit both historical and make-believe scenes. They can choose to situate the models on a flat surface or suspend them from the ceiling. Builders may decorate the model pieces with paint prior to assembly.
Model kits are available for cars, planes, trains, ships and action figures. Target and Toys "R" Us carry Revell model kits for Star Wars machinery. The kits are most suitable for children as they do not require glue or other materials to put the machinery together. There are less than 20 pieces in each kit. The models need two to three batteries to make noises.
