To find craft classes in your local area, check the classes section of a local craft store's website, such as JoAnn.com or Michaels.com, as of 2015. When you find a class, register for it online or by contacting that specific store.
To find craft classes at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, visit JoAnn.com, and click Classes. On the Classes page, click In-Store Classes. Either choose a class category under the Categories heading, or select Browse All In-Store Classes. Click Register on any class to bring up more information about it. On a class page, click Register for this Class to enter your information, select a store that offers it and pay for the class.
To find craft classes at Michaels, visit Michaels.com, and click Classes & Events. On the Classes page, click View In-Store Classes. Choose a class category, and click See Schedules by Store. Select a local store from the drop-down menu to view classes in that category at that store. Click Buy Now, and proceed through the checkout process to register for a class.
Craft classes are also available at some colleges and art schools. Schools typically allow people to audit classes, so you don't have to be a student to watch the class.
