Quilt in a Day is a modern quilting initiative founded by popular American quilter Eleanor Burns. Quilting has long endured a reputation of tedium and complexity, but when Burns published her first book "Make a Quilt in a Day: Log Cabin Pattern" in 1978, she presented a method that made quilting a more enjoyable and accessible craft form. More than 80 books and a television series later, Burns' patterns and techniques ensure both novice and experienced quilters can create a handmade quilt in a single day.
