Where Can a List of Past Ultimate Guitar Contest Winners Be Found?

A list of some past Ultimate Guitar contest winners is available on Ultimate Guitar Archive's website in the Contests section. According to section nine of the General Contest Rules on the website, individuals can email Ultimate Guitar Archive to request a list of contest winners.

Ultimate Guitar Archive does not honor requests for lists of contest winners that it receives more than 30 days past the final contest entry submission date.

Eugeny Naidenov, also known as Zappp, founded Ultimate Guitar Archive on Oct. 9, 1998, under the title Zappp's Guitar Archive. In 2002, the domain name changed to Ultimate-Guitar.com. Ultimate Guitar Archive acted solely as a public guitar and bass tab library until 2003. As of 2015, the website also hosts guitar and bass lessons, music news, guest columns, interviews and CD reviews.

In 2007, the site launched Ultimate Guitar Profiles, a global networking site aimed at musicians. As of 2015, the Ultimate Guitar community includes over 1.5 million members. Individuals can register for the Ultimate Guitar community once they are at least 13 years of age. Registered members can submit articles, tabs, reviews and lessons for community use, and they can rate existing material. Ultimate Guitar prohibits the use of strong media on its site and went so far as to censor profanity within its community until Sept. 1, 2015.
