Instructables.com, Wikihow.com and KnittingBoard.com all have instructions for using a knitting loom. Instructables and Wikihow have basic instructions for casting on, single knitting and casting off. KnittingBoard also has tutorials for different stitches, including double knitting and ribbing, as well as increasing and decreasing techniques.
Loom knitting is quicker than traditional knitting with needles. It requires yarn and a knitting loom. Yarn is wrapped around the pegs on the loom and then lifted off with a hook to create stitches. Hats, scarves, socks and afghans can all be made by loom knitting. Loom size determines the width of the work.
