Rules and instructions for cribbage can be found online at the Bicycle playing cards website. Cribbage Corner provides instructions for the game, along with links to sites where players can participate in live cribbage games and tournaments.
A typical cribbage game involves two or three players. Four may participate in a cribbage game if they play as two teams. The game uses one standard deck of 52 cards, with kings high and aces low. Score is kept with pegs that progress around a wooden board. In standard cribbage, the first player to score 121 points wins the game. Cribbage derives from a centuries-old English card game called "noddy," invented by poet Sir John Suckling.
