Find photos, baby clothes, school projects, report cards and other items to add to the memory book. Organize the items in chronological order to tell the child's unique story.
Use a three-ring binder for easy storage. Purchase paper and decorative supplies, glue, plastic sheet covers and a hole punch. Decorative supplies include glitter, markers, colored paper and pencils. Purchase a photo box to protect photos and other items from damage or yellowing over time.
Work on one page at a time. Carefully choose photos and other items to include on the page. Add decorative elements appropriate to the theme of the page. For example, if creating a page for a child's first day of school, attach photos and decorate with school-themed stickers or school colors.
Add pages to the memory book after the glue dries to avoid damage to pages. Decorate the front of the book with the child's name or favorite colors.
