Bunco is played in two to four sets with six rounds in each set. Players roll three dice trying to roll the number corresponding to the round, such as twos in round two.
Twelve players sit at three tables with one table designated the head table. Players opposite one another are partners for the round. Players earn one point for the team for each die that shows the same number as the round. Rolling three of the target number is a Bunco and earns the team 21 points. A player's turn ends when she doesn't score on a roll. The round ends when a team at the head table reaches 21.
The winning team from the head table stays put. The losing pair moves to the third table. Winning pairs at the other two tables move closer to the head table. Losing pairs stay. The person who wins the most rounds wins the game.
