The world's tallest Lego tower was built in Budapest, Hungary by a group of official Lego builders from Denmark, with the help of some local school children. It was officially registered on May 25, 2014 at the Lego store in Budapest, and was certified by Guinness World Records.
The structure was built in front of Saint Stephen's Basilica and reached a height of 114 feet. More than 450,000 blocks were used to complete the tower, and it took 4 days to build.
The previous record holder was a structure 112.9 feet high, which was built with the aid of a group of students from Delaware.
