During November, there are several large craft shows throughout the United States, from the Charlotte Fine Art Craft Show in North Carolina to the SOFA Expo in Chicago. Alternatively, on the West Coast, there is the Winter Fantasy Sawdust Art Festival in California.
Other show locations include Gainesville, Florida, where there is the Downtown Festival and Art Show, or in Indiana with the Indianapolis Winterfair during November that attracts artists from all over the country to sell their pieces. In other major cities, craft shows in November include the Best of the Northwest in Seattle, Washington, or in New York, there is a popular Holiday Crafts Park Avenue show as well. Sarasota, Florida is the location of the CraftArt Festival which brings together both national craft artists and emerging artists.
Additionally, there are several craft fairs during the month which benefit charitable organizations, as well as the artists who show their pieces. For instance, the Crafts at the Castle in Boston, Massachusetts benefits social services, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show in Pennsylvania benefits the museum. There is also CraftWestport in Connecticut, which raises funds through the Westport Young Women's League which also donates to charities as well.
