"BeamNG.drive" is a soft-body physics vehicle simulation game that allows users to drive and crash several different vehicles in various environments. The game has no defined objective; instead, it accurately simulates the components of vehicles and portrays realistic behavior of each vehicle in various situations.
"BeamNG.drive" allows users to participate in various scenarios, including delivery missions in a box truck, high-speed rally races, destruction derbies and vehicle crashes. The games calculates physics equations and problems in real time using information from a network of interconnected nodes and beams, which combine to form an invisible skeleton of the vehicle and accurately show how a vehicle deforms and reacts to stress due to collisions and other impacts.
Each location and vehicle in the game is authentic. The game allows a user to customize her car or truck and to fix, upgrade or strip the body panels of the vehicle to reduce its weight. As of 2015, "BeamNG.drive" is a single-player game, and with a quad-core processor it can simulate between four and six cars at one time. DreamNG.drive contains 3D modeling, image editing and text editing software. At minimum, the game requires a user to have Windows 7, an i3 processor, GTX 550 TI graphics, and 4 gigabytes of available hard drive space.
