Cut a 38-inch section of wire and a six-inch section. Slide beads on all but 3 inches on each piece.

Step 2: Crimp

Slide a crimping bead and the key ring on one end. Loop the wire around the key ring, back through the crimping bead. Crimp the crimping bead. Repeat the looping and crimping on the other end and then one end of the shorter wire.

Step 3: Finish the Lanyard

Add the last crimping bead and loop the wire around the base of the lobster clip. Insert the loose wire-end back through the crimping bead. Crimp it shut.
