Full Answer

The Seven Years' War consisted of a prolonged struggle between Britain and Prussia on one side, and France, Austria, Russia, Spain and Sweden on the other. Conflict extended from Europe into the European colonies of North America, West Africa and India. In North America, the Iroquois Confederacy allied itself with the British and may be counted among the allied victors. The war finally ended in 1763 with the signing of the Treaty of Paris and the Peace of Hubertusburg.
