The Ostrich Pillow is a product that allows the user to hide his or her eyes in a manner that is theoretically similar to the way ostriches are said to bury their heads. This pillow was initially brought to public attention through a massively successful 2012 Kickstarter campaign. In the wake of this campaign, the company known as Studio Banana Things began manufacturing the pillow.
While the Ostrich Pillow allows users to hide their eyes, it does function as a pillow, providing cushioning for the wearer's head. The pillow fits over the head and neck and includes holes for the nose and mouth and for the user to put his or her hands inside the pillow.
