Michelle Obama is not a man. She is a woman, is married to the 44th president of the United States, Barack Obama, and is the mother of two girls. She became the First Lady of the United States in 2009.
Michelle Obama was born in 1964 to Fraser and Marian Robinson in Chicago. She studied at Princeton University and the Harvard School of Law. After working as a lawyer for a few years, she moved on to a couple positions, which allowed her to help in communities and neighborhoods before becoming associate dean of student services at the University of Chicago. In 1992, she married Barack Obama, with whom she has two daughters. As First Lady, she has implemented several programs to help veterans and inspire youth. These programs include: Let's Move!, Joining Forces and the Reach Higher Initiative.
