Cleopatra had four children, according to Discovery. One was a son fathered by Julius Caesar. The other three, two boys and a girl, she had with Mark Antony.
Cleopatra's first son was named Caesarion after his father. He was murdered under Octavian's orders, but the children of Cleopatra and Marc Antony were spared. The elder two of these children were twins, a boy named Alexander Helios and a girl named Cleopatra Selene. A sculpture exists at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo that is believed to represent these twins. Their final child was a son named Ptolemy Philadelphus. After the deaths of their parents, the three children went to Rome where they were raised by Mark Antony's wife, Octavia.
