John F. Kennedy served 1,037 days as the president of the United States. Kennedy was sworn into office on Jan. 20, 1961 and was assassinated on Nov. 22, 1963.

It is believed that Lee Harvey Oswald fired the shots that killed the president. Two hours after the assassination, Vice President Lyndon B.
