Although Barack Obama never released his academic records for public viewing, Breitbart news agency released information implying that Obama's high school records may have been inferior to those of George W. Bush. Without documentation however, it could not be proved.
Obama transferred to Columbia College from Occidental Community College in Los Angeles. Breitbart discovered documentation stating that Columbia's incoming transfer class that year was made up of students with high school SAT scores averaging 1100. George Bush scored 1206 on the same test, and if Obama's score was near the average of Columbia's transferring class, it may mean that Bush scored higher. Obama did finish second in his graduating class at Harvard law school, however, and was elected president of the Harvard Law Review. Both were notable academic achievements.
