As Nancy Davis, she enjoyed an unremarkable acting career. She met actor Ronald Reagan through the Screen Actor's Guild, and they married in 1952.
Nancy Reagan remained faithfully by her husband's side while he was governor of California and president of the United States. She was Ronald's Reagan's primary caregiver during the last years of his life while he suffered from Alzheimer's disease.
