What Did Marie Curie Discover?
Marie Curie discovered two new elements of the periodic table (polonium and radium) and conducted extensive research on radioactivity. She was the first woman to receive a Nobel Prize. Marie Curie was also involved in the development of X-ray machines.

She also developed new techniques that managed to isolate radioactive isotopes. Her scientific work was remarkable, and Marie Curie became the first woman to earn a title of professor at the University of Paris.
