Francesco Pizarro married Ines Huaylas Yupanqui and had one child by the name of Francesca Pizarro Yupanqui. His date of birth is uncertain but is believed to have been between 1471 and 1476. Francesco Pizarro died in 1548.
Francesco Pizarro was an illegitimate child. His father was a Spanish soldier and his mother a menial servant. He rose to become one of the greatest of the Spanish conquistadors and was Marquis de la Conquista. On April 9, 1548, he was defeated when fighting against the Spanish forces led by the viceroy Pedro de la Gasca. He was captured and put to death.
