Siksika, Kainai, Peigan and North Peigan Pikuni tribes form the nation of Blackfoot Indians. They migrated from the Great Lakes area to the Northwest of the United States and into Canada. Blackfoot Indians followed buffalo herds and made their living by trading buffalo hides and goods with other tribes.
The Blackfoot Indian time-honored traditions include believing that no one is born evil. They believe that living an honorable life depends on truth and honesty and that all people deserve to be respected regardless of age or standing. They also believe that people need a good sense of humor to live a full life.
