According to WebMD, side effects of Z-Pak use include upset stomach, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain. Rare but serious side effects include changes in hearing, eye problems, trouble speaking, muscle weakness and signs of liver problems. Many people who use this medication do not experience serious side effects.
