According to Weight Watchers, their exercise points are now known as PointsPlus values. Exercise points are earned for any type of activity that you do while you are participating in the Weight Watchers program.
Activity points, or PointsPlus values, are different for each person. The amount of points a participant can earn for any activity depends on the type of activity she is doing and the intensity and duration of the exercise. Another factor that affects the points earned are the participant's weight and her ultimate weight loss goal.
According to OneMorePound, there was an old point system prior to 2010, but as of 2014 the Weight Watchers plan uses a slightly different way to calculate exercise and meal points.
