The Venus Factor program is a nutrition website and mobile app that helps women reach weight loss goals. The program offers customized nutrition software and individualized workout plans to women of all ages, shapes and sizes. Designed by John Barban and Brad Pilon, the total-body program utilizes a three-step approach of custom dieting, full-body workouts and social networking through the program's mobile application.
The first portion of the program offers users customized diets that take into consideration their height, weight, fitness level and lifestyle. The nutrition software provides the user with a weekly eating schedule. Daily food choice recommendations, sample meals, calorie goals and guidelines on macronutrients are provided in the program. The user’s diet adjusts as her body and fitness levels change.
The Venus factor includes a full-body cardiovascular and muscle-toning fitness program. The Venus workout places an emphasis on proper form and isolated-muscle exercises. With a Venus membership, users can access the program’s 140 instructional workout videos.
Through the Venus Factor’s mobile application, users can access the entire database of nutrition and exercise programs on their mobile device. The app also provides access to a private community where users can gain support and share their experiences, tips and progress.
