To use MyChart from HealthPartners Clinic, obtain an activation code during your next HealthPartners clinic visit, or call your primary care clinic to get an activation code, advises MyChart. Visit the HealthPartners MyChart website, and use the activation code to gain access and create a username and password.
Once you have created a MyChart account, it is possible to request medical appointments, see certain test results, view your health record, request prescription refills, and communicate with members of your health care team, according to MyChart. Test results are available after the physician reviews them, usually within one to 12 days. The provider decides which test results you are able to view. Test results that are very sensitive do not appear on MyChart.
If you have a non-urgent issue that you want to discuss with your doctor or nurse, you can send a secure message using MyChart, explains the website. It takes one to three business days to receive a response. It is not appropriate to use MyChart for situations in which immediate medical care is necessary.
If you need help setting up or accessing your MyChart account, call or email Web support, advises HealthPartners. Web support is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time.
