To sign up at the website, go to, click Help, and then ExtraCare Membership, then Join Now. Create a new account if you do not have one already and provide the required information. Every ExtraCare member receives a card with a unique number. Members use these numbers to receive their ExtraBucks Rewards and ExtraSavings, as stated by CVS. To receive ExtraBucks Rewards and ExtraSavings, customers must present their ExtraCare cards during check out.

Members earn ExtraBucks Rewards for most purchases and can apply their ExtraBucks Rewards to purchases of most items available in the store. Items that do not earn rewards and are not eligible for purchase with rewards include alcohol, prescriptions, lottery tickets and gift cards.
