To sign up for an account on Matchdoctor, new users must visit the official Matchdoctor website and follow the link to sign up. All new users must select a username and password and provide a confidential email address.
To sign up for a Matchdoctor account, the user must provide basic information, such as user gender, gender preference, age range preference and information regarding the preferential type of relationship from categories such as casual dating, long-term relationship, marriage and “intimate” activities. The account sign up also asks for the birthday and location of the user by country and postal code.
As of November 2015, it is free to sign up for Matchdoctor and the site does not require a credit card. The site recommends that users create a username that reflects their personality, as the username is what other potential matches see. A username may only have numbers and letters with no special characters or spaces.
When users sign up for Matchdoctor, they accept the terms of the user agreement. The user agreement states that user email addresses are not visible and not distributed to third parties or other members. Users who are members receive winks and new mail via email.
