Through the ProMedica portal, members can receive messages from ProMedica staff, request medical appointments and pay their ProMedica medical bills. Registered members can also communicate directly with ProMedica staff and access lab results through the portal.
Members have access to test and lab results once the lab analyzes the tests. If a specific result is not available within the expected period, the member should contact the primary care provider. It should take a maximum of 72 hours for the result to reflect on the portal.
Users pay their bills through the Pay My Bill option on the ProMedica portal. The portal provides options to send online payment for services from the ProMedica hospital, nursing homes and laboratories. Through this portal, users also access their statements and e-statements. Members also use the portal to find a doctor in a given specialty.
For privacy reasons, only registered users have access to the ProMedica portal. To register, individuals request a personal identification number from a physician's office at ProMedica either physically or over the phone. Upon receipt of the name, year of birth and email address of an individual, ProMedica emails the individual with the login details.
