Getting ripped is a complex process that takes a variable amount of time depending on the starting fitness of the person exercising and the workout program they choose. In order to get ripped quickly, you need access to a gym with weights and some flexibility in your diet.
- Develop a weekly weight training program
Come up with a set of regular exercises you can do in order to develop your muscles. You should focus on a wide variety of different muscle groups and alternate them regularly to avoid damaging your muscles. Give your body enough time to rest in between exercise days. Start off with simple core exercises and add more lifts as you become more proficient as a weightlifter.
- Add healthier foods and protein to your diet
Ensure that your diet includes a wide variety of healthy foods and nutrients. You should be getting plenty of vitamins and minerals from your foods. Try to avoid added sugars and starches when you are getting leaner. Incorporate clean and healthy protein sources, like lean meat and seafood, into your diet.
- Get plenty of sleep
Schedule your time so that you can get 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night. Avoid the temptation to skip sleep in order to exercise more. Sleep deprivation is linked to a large number of health problems, including obesity.
