The Vivitar Camelio tablet receives mixed reviews. As a low-priced tablet that's designed for use by kids, it's fairly well-received, as Technology Tell points out. However, problems with the screen, particularly with its lack of brightness and resolution, hinder its overall usefulness.
The Camelio tablet is adequate for the activities children typically engage in with a tablet, including game playing, watching videos and reading. In addition, because the Camelio looks like a "grown-up" tablet, children enjoy using it, and it's useful for long car rides, Technology Tell explains. However, some apps lag when loading or during use, and the touchscreen is not as responsive as it could be. Kids can express their personalities with the tablets by adding wallpapers and cases, states Engadget.
